Responsibilities:
- Utilise expertise in Siemens family automation systems to design, implement, and maintain automation solutions.
- Lead the setup, programming, and optimisation of industrial robots to enhance efficiency and precision in biotech manufacturing and laboratory environments.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate automation systems seamlessly into existing infrastructure and workflows, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimise downtime and maximise productivity.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for automation processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.
- Participate in the planning and execution of automation projects, providing technical expertise and guidance to achieve project objectives efficiently.
- Provide training and support to operational teams on the use and maintenance of automation equipment and systems.
Qualifications:
- Degree or technical certification in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in handling, setting up, and programming industrial robots, with proficiency in Siemens family automation systems (e.g., SIMATIC).
- Familiarity with biotech manufacturing processes and equipment is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Fluency in German (B2 or higher) and English (written and spoken).
