They are looking for an R&D engineer for their digital appliances unit who will play a pivotal role in driving product innovation and pushing the boundaries of household appliances technology.
Role
- Identification & evaluation of current product issues & and feedback
- Designing and developing new technologies and structures for better & and improved installation
- Investigating product potentials & and suggesting improvements
- Developing product manuals and installation instructions
- Liaising with other people and teams globally such as product managers, manufacturers, kitchen specialists, etc
- Travelling occasionally to visit manufacturers, subsidiaries, conferences, kitchen specialists, etc
Profile
- Min. 3 year's experience as design or R&D engineer
- Mechanical engineering degree or background
- Experience with built-in appliances (refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens, kitchen hobs, washing machines, dryers, etc)
- Experience with CAD software (ideally NX)
- Willingness to travel
- Soft skills: hands-on, dynamic, patient, problem solver
- Motivated person that can grow into the role and can make an impact
- Willing to be part of a bigger team
- English fluent, German/Italian ideal
