Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in demand planning within the manufacturing sector, possessing strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and leadership abilities. As the Demand Planning Director, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing inventory levels, enhancing forecast accuracy, and driving supply chain efficiency to meet customer demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute demand planning strategies to ensure accurate forecasts and inventory optimization.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams to gather inputs and insights for demand forecasting.
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to generate accurate demand forecasts.
- Lead S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) processes to align demand plans with production capacity and inventory targets.
- Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance demand planning processes.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate forecast accuracy and inventory performance.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the demand planning team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in demand planning or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in demand forecasting, inventory management, and S&OP processes.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and forecasting tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, statistical modeling).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Certification in APICS (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) or other relevant supply chain certifications is a plus.
