The Food Safety and Quality Supervisor should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience working within manufacturing environments
- Strong knowledge of FDA regulations governing GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) programs.
The Food Safety and Quality Supervisor will be responsible for:
* Maintaining compliance with state/federal guidelines regarding product testing/sampling protocol
* Collaborating closely alongside senior management staff members daily concerning plant performance targets/goals
* Managing workforce training sessions around company policies/procedures relating to health codes/hygiene best practice etc.
