My client is a global player within automotive spare parts manufacturing. They are looking for a Material Planning and Logsitics Director. As the Director of Global Material Planning & Logistics, you will be responsible for leading the strategic development and standardisation of all planning and logistics processes across my clients enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement global MP&L strategies for process standardisation and optimisation.
- Provide direction, set targets, and monitor results across the Global MP&L network.
- Collaborate with global and local management to align strategic initiatives and develop standard processes.
- Lead improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and support business growth.
- Take the lead on enterprise-level strategic initiatives such as SIOP, customer classification, and ERP implementation.
- Coordinate logistics activities with regional managers and optimise global transportation and inventory tracking.
- Act as a global conscience in decision-making for supply chain issues and support critical delivery situations.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role and minimum of 10 years experience within material planning and logistics, preferably in a global manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of driving process standardisation, optimisation, and improvement initiatives.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and regions.
- Experience with ERP systems and supply chain management tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
