Title: Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Bay Area, CA
A leading name in Food Production is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to direct the Maintenance Department to maintain, improve, and implement the maintenance infrastructure.
The Maintenance Supervisor will have the following responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the performance of team and create an inclusive environment that embraces the values and purpose.
- Foster a safe working environment and act as a leader in safety.
- Train, develop and coach direct reports.
- Assess the capabilities of maintenance technicians.
- Assist in ensuring production goals are met through attention to machinery efficiency.
- Supervising and performing preventative and corrective maintenance on all manufacturing equipment and machinery.
- Coordinating work with supporting functions controlled by other supervisors
- Supervise plant work orders as completed.
- Supervise all PM's to ensure machine dependability.
- Troubleshoot production equipment as needed.
- Contribute to the spare parts inventory program.
The Maintenance Supervisor MUST have the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of related supervisory experience within manufacturing
- Food or pharmaceutical background preferred; Chocolate experience desired
- Ability to effectively collaborate on all levels, functions, and departments
- Ability to work on weekend as needed
