The Production Manager - should have the following skill set:
- Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university
- Five or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in the food/beverage industry (if necessary)
- Must be detailed oriented and can multi-task
- Must have excellent time management skills
The Production Manager - will:
- Oversee quality performance of the production department, schedule attainment, and line performance.
- Plan, develop, and implement departmental expectations.
- Analyze production schedule to coordinate resources necessary to attain required levels of production.
- Monitor production output and quality performance, track downtime trends, and establish plans to improve
- Develop and motivate employees under the span of control.
- Lead, teach, coach, and counsel in order to develop and improve department performance.
- Ensure employee compliance with established standards, i.e. GMP, HACCP, Food Safety, Food Security, Safety Rules, Work Rules, and company policies and procedures.
- Interface with other individuals and departments in the organization including but not limited to Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Finance.
