Our client, a leading skincare company with a rich history spanning over 100 years, is dedicated to developing innovative skin and body care products for globally recognised brands. They are looking for a packaging development engineer to join the Global Packaging Department, which serves as a strategic partner for developing new, innovative packaging concepts and cost-effective solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Marketing, Research and Development, and Supply Chain units on global launch/relaunch projects.
- Develop new packaging systems and optimise existing solutions with a strong focus on sustainability.
- Set new standards for design, functionality, and costs through innovative approaches and execution.
- Analyze manufacturing and filling processes for existing packaging solutions, identifying optimization opportunities.
- Monitor the market and competition to integrate relevant insights into projects and team discussions.
Requirements:
- University degree or advanced scientific education.
- Relevant working experience with interfaces to packaging topics (e.g., R&D, Supply Chain), ideally with sustainability focus.
- Proven track record in project and process management.
- Strong interest in packaging technology.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Confidence in moderation and presentation techniques.
- Fluent in English and German; additional languages are advantageous.
