DSJ Global is currently partnered with a Nation leading retail company seeking an innovative and strategic leader to join the team as the Regional Manager DCSS. This role will be responsible for overseeing and supporting multiple distribution centers in their maintenance functions.
The ideal candidate will possess previous maintenance or operations experience, ideally in a logistics or supply chain setting, such as warehouses, distribution centers, or fulfillment centers. The primary objective of this role is to ensure optimal operational efficiency and facility maintenance across all locations within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee maintenance operations across multiple distribution centers within the region.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to optimize operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with site managers to ensure compliance with maintenance schedules, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Provide leadership and guidance to maintenance teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track maintenance performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess facility conditions and identify maintenance needs.
- Ensure timely and effective response to maintenance issues and emergencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in maintenance or operations, preferably in a logistics or supply chain environment.
- Proven track record of leadership and management experience, with the ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve goals.
- Strong understanding of maintenance best practices, safety regulations, and compliance standards.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
