Introduction
A leading provider of integrated quay-to-quay and door-to-door logistics solutions is seeking a Sales Manager for Germany. Our client is dedicated to providing short-sea roll-on/roll-off connections across Europe. Our client is offering multi-modal transportation services extend across the continent, supported by an extensive network of ships, terminals, and equipment.
Your Role
- Strategically build and manage a new customer portfolio, fostering account development and growth.
- Expand the company's geographical reach and enhance brand presence in Germany, with a focus on the Frankfurt, Mannheim, Stuttgart regions.
- Actively explore the German market and industries for new business opportunities that align with the growth strategy.
- Nurture and expand current account relationships to ensure sustainable growth.
- Adhere to all internal procedures in commercial engagements with both new and existing customers.
- Report directly to the Commercial Manager Germany.
- Undertake additional tasks as required, leveraging your skills and capabilities.
Your Profile
- A background in logistics through education and/or professional experience.
- In-depth knowledge of the German transport industry.
- Exceptional commercial acumen and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience in the European door-to-door market is a must.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Germany and occasionally to other European locations.
- A flexible, innovative professional who can think outside the box.
- A collaborative team player.
