Senior Business Development - Solution Design (m/f/d)
Our client has a long history and is one of the top 5 freight forwarding and logistics service providers globally. They are now looking to expand and grow within the contract logistics department and looking for strong business development and solution design experts to join their growing team and work on exciting projects across the EMEA region.
Your tasks are:
* Costing and solution design
* Independent processing of RFQs in terms of planning and calculation for contract logistics; process calculation
* End to end design, including warehouse processes, labor and material resources, storage and automation proposals.
* Conception, preparation, and presentation of offers.
* Conceptual discussion of the technical concept with the operations and the corresponding Business Development Manager
* Further development and/or development of tools with the aim of more standardization and increasing quality and efficiency.
Your requirements profile:
* Sound, proven experience in the creation of (contract) logistics concepts or offers and changing teams with high customer involvement.
* Very good knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and ideally MS Visio
* A deep understanding of processes combined with a high affinity for IT, knowledge of WMS and ERP systems are advantageous.
* High customer orientation and very good communication skills in German and English
* Very good analytical-strategic skills and conceptual thinking
* Confident, engaging demeanour with good conflict and integration skills.
* Ability to work independently.
* Willingness to travel nationally.
* Strategic, conceptual, goal- and result-orientated thinking and acting.
