Title: Senior Director of Supply Chain Operations - Oxford, UK
Introductory Paragraph:
DSJ Global is currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Senior Director of Supply Chain Operations for our client in Oxford. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading end-to-end supply chain operations with an emphasis on S&OE improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic plans that align with business objectives
- Oversee E2E supply chain processes including planning, purchasing, logistics and inventory management
- Implement continuous process improvements across all functions within the organization
- Manage relationships with suppliers and third-party vendors
Qualifications:
To qualify for this role you should have:
* A Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration or related field.
* At least 10 years' experience working as a senior leader within supply chain operations.
* Strong knowledge of industry best practices.
* Exceptional leadership skills coupled by excellent communication abilities both written & oral plus outstanding interpersonal skills.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate expertise in several areas such as:
* Proven ability to develop effective strategies aimed at optimizing company's operational performance;
* Extensive hands-on experience managing complex cross-functional projects;
* Demonstrated success driving transformation initiatives which enhance productivity while lowering costs;
* Experience developing strong supplier/vendor partnerships along with negotiating contracts terms favourable towards their clients' interests;
