Our client in the financial services industry is looking for an individual to lead sourcing initiatives for the software category and improve the procurement process.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement best practices to drive cost reductions within the category.
- Manage sourcing events and lead contract negotiations with major vendors
- Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders
- Manage strategic supplier relationships and introduce new suppliers.
- Define best practices and establish targets.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of software sourcing experience
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field
- Strong analytical and problem solving kills
- Proven success in negotiations and contracting
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
