As a Senior Strategic Buyer, you'll bridge the gap between our global procurement team and local operations. Your role is pivotal in aligning strategies, optimizing processes, and nurturing supplier relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies in line with company objectives.
- Support and guide the procurement team locally and abroad.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favourable agreements.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive process improvements.
- Facilitate communication and knowledge sharing between teams.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field.
- Proven procurement experience, ideally in a technical environment.
- Strong negotiation skills and supplier management experience.
- Willingness to travel and work in a global team setting.
