Sourcing Manager (Indirect Procurement)

Location: Dallas, TX - Onsite
Role Overview: Our client is seeking a Strategic Sourcing professional to step into category leadership responsibility as pertains to Indirect Procurement, including Packaging, HR, IT, MRO, Marketing, etc. This team is expecting significant growth in the next two years and we are looking for a self-starter, someone that can take initiative and proactive steps in developing and executing sourcing strategy, managing supplier relationships and negotiation, and improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Take charge of strategic sourcing efforts across all indirect spend categories.
- Analyze spending data to identify cost-saving opportunities, non-contracted spend, and consolidation possibilities among suppliers.
- Develop, document, and implement processes and systems aligned with company objectives.
- Skillfully negotiate contracts and maintain strong business relationships.
- Plan and execute comprehensive supplier business reviews covering all aspects of the supplier-customer relationship.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders and functional areas to uncover savings opportunities through Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) and supply chain optimization.
- Regularly update and evaluate performance metrics to drive enhancements.
- Ensure suppliers adhere to federal, national, regional, and local laws and guidelines.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a business discipline preferred
- At least 3 years of strategic sourcing or category leadership in Indirect Procurement categories required - Packaging experience appreciated
- Must have a proven track record in successful supply chain improvement
