The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency, minimize costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier performance to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Inventory Optimization: Oversee inventory management processes, including demand forecasting, stock replenishment, and inventory allocation, to meet customer demand while minimizing carrying costs and stockouts.
- Logistics Management: Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure smooth flow of goods from suppliers to customers, optimizing delivery times and reducing transportation costs.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the supply chain, implementing best practices to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
- Risk Mitigation: Assess potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions, such as supplier delays, transportation issues, or natural disasters.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and supplier performance, analyzing data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, sales, marketing, and finance, to align supply chain activities with business goals and objectives.
The Supply Chain Manager should have the following qualifications and skills:
- Experience within supply chain management or related roles
- E-Commerce experience is beneficial.
- Proven track record of successfully managing end-to-end supply chain operations, including strategic planning, procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
- Fluency in English and German
