Tasks:
Team Leadership: Offer both disciplinary and professional guidance to production planning and logistics teams, ensuring continuous development while adhering to labor and environmental regulations.
Safety Compliance: Prioritize adherence to safety regulations, proactively identifying potential risks to mitigate them effectively.
Material Movement Coordination: Coordinate and execute the movement of materials within the facility, ensuring prompt delivery to customers. Manage packaging, loading, and shipping schedules, and maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system.
Packaging Management: Oversee packaging for internal and external material flows, including planning, development, costing, and specification definition. Maintain master data in the ERP system and manage empties and customer portal administration.
Logistics Complaints Handling: Manage logistics complaints efficiently and implement sustainable corrective actions to address issues effectively.
Process Optimization: Optimize logistics processes in alignment with Business Unit directives, including the implementation of MES and control systems. Adhere to process guidelines and contribute to cross-functional optimization projects.
Metrics Analysis: Analyze and report logistics metrics to plant and Business Unit management, providing insights for informed decision-making.
Budget Planning: Plan logistics costs and personnel budgets, organize the logistics team, and optimize work equipment procurement.
Profile:
Educational Background: Completed apprenticeship as an industrial clerk or technical apprenticeship with additional qualifications in materials management or logistics specialist.
Experience: Possess several years of experience in production planning and/or logistics, including leadership roles.
Industry Exposure: Ideally, have experience in the aluminum industry or related sectors such as automotive, rail, construction/engineering, or aerospace.
Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate a strong understanding of technical and business processes.
Personal Attributes: Exhibit high levels of commitment, resilience, and agility, along with strong communication skills.
Software Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems, preferably ProAlpha, and proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
