As part of this role, you will be responsible for growing and leading the procurement function within the organisation.
Responsibilities:
As a Team Leader Procurement, you will be responsible for developing strong relationships with suppliers, while ensuring timely delivery of goods. You will need to create effective sourcing strategies that deliver cost savings without compromising on quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams such as engineering or logistics to ensure materials are delivered on time. You will also be required to lead negotiations of contract terms and conditions, including price agreements.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Our ideal candidate should have experience working at senior levels within direct materials, preferably from a semiconductor or electronics background. You should be skilled in managing supplier performance metrics/KPIs across material categories. Additionally, you should have a proven track record of successful negotiation skills both internally and externally, as well as a demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure whilst maintaining attention-to-detail approach always.
To be considered for this position, you must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field. You should have excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills. You should also be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel.
